The Wrapped in Love Story –
A Message from Founder Karen
Like many stories in our lives, the Wrapped in Love story started with an illness. My mom had become very ill from cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. It was Christmas eve and she told me she no longer wanted to receive visitors as she felt she looked too bad in her state of illness. It broke my heart to see how she had lost her dignity. I decided that I was going to make her feel special and pretty on Christmas day. I made her a wrap that could go over her hospital gown and put a pretty flower pin on it (she loved flowers and gardening). I put a little bit of lipstick on her and gave her some rosy cheeks, and I saw that old familiar smile come back. That day inspired me for the rest of my life. I saw that helping someone feel and look special despite their illness could really make an impact on a patient’s outlook and dignity. That day I was inspired to create Wrapped in Love, a clothing and accessory line for women with cancer and other illnesses, to provide them with comfort, style and dignity, despite illness.
Cancer is, unfortunately, a defining moment in many people’s lives, but that doesn’t mean that their illness defines who they are. That’s why our clothing and accessories are designed to be purposeful, yet fashionable.
As part of creating clothes, headwear, and accessories that are comfortable and functional, I interact with patients, survivors and healthcare workers to create designs cancer patients are proud to wear, as well as products that are soft against the scalp and make it easy for healthcare professionals to administer treatment with dignity and sensitivity.
Over the past five years, I’ve met hundreds of women and men — some of them are models on our website! — and been able to bring a little bit of joy, a little bit of sparkle, and a lot of love to them and their families.

Fighting Cancer with Dignity and in Style: The Blog
Whether you want to find ideas to support your friend or loved one with cancer, find the best gifts for someone having chemotherapy, or looking for a simple way to say thank you to your doctor or nurse, our blog tries to touch upon a little bit of everything.
Our Core Values
Behind every Wrapped in Love creation is a whole lot of care and core values that we never compromise on.
Having cancer doesn’t mean giving up your sense of style.
Many clothes designed for cancer patients and those having chemotherapy are practical, but they’re not stylish. From featuring vibrant colorways and bold animal prints to timeless designs, our range is perfect for pre, post, and current cancer patients looking to showcase their personality, despite their illness. Almost every design features our signature flower to represent Karen’s mom’s love of gardening and flowers.
Chemo clothes should be designed with the patient in mind — but still be practical for healthcare workers.
We don’t just design chemo clothes we think will be comfortable and make your loved one feel good — we make sure they do! During many focus groups, we’ve found out what cancer patients want from clothing so that they feel at ease and dignified, as well as how the right clothes can help nurses to administer treatment in a minimally intrusive way. Our kimonos, knit and fleece shoulder wraps, PICC line sleeves, and more are all easily chemo port accessible. We believe that patients having chemotherapy shouldn’t struggle to find clothes suitable for treatment — but to have a wardrobe full and be spoiled for choice!
Made in the USA with love because you deserve the best.
We think it’s worth it so that you know exactly where our clothing and accessories have come from, and that we’ve given our seal of approval on each accessory, headscarf, kimono, and every other piece of clothing that we sell.
